ODrive’s very own first-party encoder, the OA1!

It’s an absolute on-axis magnetic encoder that seamlessly connects to an ODrive S1 or Pro over RS485 — great for spaces where you can't back-mount an entire ODrive as a primary encoder. It uses the very same onboard magnetic encoder chip used on the ODrive S1 and Pro, and enables precise, accurate, and robust motor control — and it’s a one-click configuration in the GUI! OA1s are available for purchase today on the shop page, and are available with a wire harness for direct connection to an ODrive S1 or Pro.
